India Post has released a notification for the recruitment of 11 Skilled Artisan positions. Candidates who have passed the 8th grade are eligible to apply. Applications for the Skilled Artisan posts in India Post are being invited in offline mode. The application process will begin on February 20 and will continue until March 31, 2026.

Post Age Limit

India Post Skilled Artisan Recruitment 2026 has set the age limit for General and EWS categories between 18 to 30 years, with age calculation based on July 1, 2026. Additionally, the maximum age limit is 33 years for OBC candidates, 35 years for SC/ST candidates, 40 years for government employees, and 45 years for SC/ST government employees. Ex-servicemen will receive age relaxation as per applicable rules.

Post Educational Qualification

India Post Skilled Artisan Recruitment 2026 requires candidates to have passed at least the 8th grade and possess one year of experience in the relevant trade. Alternatively, candidates can hold an ITI certificate in the respective trade from a recognized institution. However, for the mechanic position, a valid driving license for both light and heavy vehicles is also mandatory.
